National award winning Best Tamil Film aims for an Oscar

Kutram Kadidhal` the film, which won the National award for Best Tamil Feature Film, ahead of its theatrical release now aims for an international honor. AN official press statement from the film`s makers confirm that they have applied for 87th Oscar Academy Awards, which is considered as one of the top most prestigious awards for Films in International arena.

Another Tamil film Kaakka Muttai` which won the National award for Best Children Film and S.S.Rajamouli`s spectacular Tamil-Telugu bilingual Baahubali` have been watched by the committee to select the official nominations for the Oscars from India and both the films are expected to be included in the list

Producer J.Sathish Kumar has confirmed that the critically acclaimed film will hit the screens on September 24 . The film has been directed by debutante Bramma.G with newcomers Master Ajay, Radhika Prasidhha, Sai Rajkumar and Pavel Navageethan in prominent roles.

Indiaglitz wishes that Kutram Kadidhal` is also included in the India`s Oscar Nominations list, which will be finalized on September 25.
