'KVSR' in Yakshagana

For the 250th day of historical Kannada film with highest budget and highest collector in the history of Kannada cinema ÂKranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna has been approved for ÂYakshagana form of art. ÂYakshagana is popular art form of Dakshin Kannada is accepted widely in Karnataka and some other part of the world.
Devadas Ishwaramangala is adopting the story of ÂKranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna to Yakshagana. Saligrama Mela is staging this art form on July 8. Balkuru Krishnayaji and Jalavalli Vidhyadhara Rao are in lead characters. Shashikanth Shetty, Prasanna Shettigar, Shankara Ullur are also in the supporting cast of other characters.
After cinema hitting the height of popularity there are other examples of book format of it in Karnataka. Aptha Mithra, Mungaru Male and a few others were transformed as books in Kannada.
