Lakshmi goes bald

Though it is common for actors in K-town to tonsure their heads for a crucial scene in the movies they act, not may actresses come forward to go bald. However, Lakshmi seems to be an exception to this.
The actress, who shot to fame with ÂPoi Solla Porom and hogged attention playing TrishaÂs mother in ÂVinnaithandi VaruvayaÂ, has agreed to shave her head for ÂYudham SeiÂ, directed by Mysskin.
ÂIt is a once-in-a-lifetime role and it required me to tonsure my head. I had no issues because it was one such role I have been waiting for so long and Mysskin is a wonderful director, the actress says.
Revealing the list of her upcoming films, she says, ÂI am there in Boss Engira Baskaran, Naan Mahaan Alla, Kanimozhi, Aanmai Thavarel, Putham Pudhu Kaalai and other projects. Besides, Lakshmi is also busy with her maiden directorial venture.
