Lakshmi Rai has denied that she reached Chennai by a special aircraft to take part in the inaugural ceremony of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which happened at the YMCA Grounds in Nandanam last week.

A flight was arranged from Mumbai for all the actors and actresses who attended the IPL opening night. I came to Chennai only by that flight. No special aircraft was chartered for me, she says.

I was extended the facilities which were provided to other stars. I did not enjoy any special privilege and no one went out of the way to pamper me. There is no truth in such baseless reports, clarifies the actress.

Lakshmi Rai is currently busy with projects in Tollywood and Mollywood. She has acted opposite top Telugu star Balakrishna in a film titled 'Adhinayakudu', which is expected to hit the screens this summer.
