'Echcharikkai', 'Lakshmi', 'Merku Thodarchi Malai' Chennai BO report here!

Last Friday three films released. They are ‘Echcharikkai’, ‘Merku Thodarchi Malai’ and ‘Lakshmi’. Let’s see how these films fared at the box office.
Prabhu Deva’s ‘Laksmi’ was screened at 18 theatres with 178 shows in Chennai this weekend alone reaping in a total of Rs.52,78,761. ‘Echcharikkai Ithu Manithargal Nadamaadum Idam’ which has Sathyaraj playing the lead role was screened in 16 theatres with 154 shows reaping in a profit of Rs.9,64,532. ‘Merku Thodarchi Malai’ which has been produced by Vijay Sethupathi was screened at 8 theatres with 27 showsand got Rs.6,05,314.
It should be noted that even though Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Merku Thodarchi Malai’ made a good impact in social media platforms, the films that released last weekend has made only average profits.
