Lavanya deletes Why Brahmin superiority? tweet

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has reportedly made certain comments extolling the Brahmin community. Plugging the Speaker's tweet regarding this, actress Lavanya Tripathi has made an interesting comment on Twitter.

"As a Brahmin, I don't understand this whole superiority feeling among some of the Brahmins. You become superior or inferior because of what you do, not because of your caste," the actress tweeted.

She deleted the tweet moments later, probably to avoid any possible controversy.

The 'Andala Rakshasi' beauty will soon be seen in 'Arjun Suravaram', in which she romances Nikhil Siddharth. The release of the investigative thriller has been delayed by more than 8 months.
