Lavanya Tripathi recently made a significant change by rechristening her surname. Following her lavish destination wedding with Mega Prince Varun Tej in Tuscany, Italy, Lavanya became an integral part of the Konidela family, taking on the surname 'Konidela' as a symbol of her new identity. This transformation was reflected across her social media platforms, where she updated her name to Lavanya Tripathi Konidela.

The move has garnered immense joy among Mega fans, who see it as a gesture akin to Upasana Kamineni, the wife of Global Star Ram Charan. Drawing parallels to Upasana, who adopted the surname 'Konidela' post-marriage, Lavanya's decision has resonated positively among enthusiasts. Her official name is now 'Lavanya Tripathi Konidela,' and she encourages everyone to address her by this updated title.

While post-wedding, there has been a hiatus in the release of films featuring Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, the upcoming year promises a resurgence for both on the silver screen. The teaser for Varun Tej's upcoming film, 'Operation Valentine,' was recently unveiled, earning accolades from Lavanya Tripathi herself. She commended the film, noting the courage required to venture into such unique cinematic endeavors.

Currently, Varun Tej is actively involved in the shooting of the film 'Matka,' directed by Karuna Kumar of 'Palasa' fame. The newlywed couple embarked on their honeymoon tour before commencing work on their respective projects, with the 'Operation Valentine' teaser coinciding with this joyful journey. Originally slated for release on December 8, the film has been rescheduled for the upcoming year, affording Varun Tej some well-deserved free time.

Upon their return to India, Varun Tej promptly joined the sets of 'Matka,' while Lavanya Tripathi is busy with a web series for OTT platform Disney Plus Hot Star. In this series, she shares the screen with 'Bigg Boss' winner Abhijeet, portraying her on-screen partner. Additionally, she has reportedly signed another film, marking an exciting phase in her burgeoning acting career.
