Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmii' was arguably the most anticipated movie of the year. Although it got delayed due to pandemic, when it finally got released on Disney+Hotstar, people flocked over the OTT platform. 'Laxmii' had the biggest opening for an OTT released movie. It surpassed Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Dil Bechara'.

'Laxmii' managed to gain about one million new subscribers for Disney+Hotstar but the audience doesn't seem to enjoy the flick. This movie has gained 2.2/10 rating on IMDb and it has become third worst rated Bollywood movie of the year after 'Sadak 2' and 'Baaghi 3'. The rating is based on 17000 votes, 12000 of which have given just 1 star to the movie.

Earlier, Actor Akshay Kumar and Director Raghav Lawrence thanked fans for the record breaking opening of the movie.
