Laya and Laila in Mohanlal's movie

Actress Laya has would be playing the second heroine in Mahasamudram.
Laya has no qualms about the length of her role in the film. She is going to appear in only a few scenes and a song sequence.
Interestingly the movie starring Mohanlal in the lead role has actress Laila playing the lead role.
Mahasamudram is being directed by the new comer Dr S Janardhanan. The shooting began in Thiruvananthapuram.
The rest of the cast includes Jagadi, Innocent, Sai Kumar, Siddhique and others.
Mohanlal plays a fisherman in the movie.
