Leader's audio released on November 22 was much awaited by Mickey J Meyer's fans.  Though not a total disappointment, it definitely borders on the mediocre.  Having no original music as in the case of Happy Days, it doesn't impel repeat listening.

The album has six songs and one instrumental.  Lyrics are by Dr. Veturi Sundararamamurthy.

Maa Telugu Talliki    Listen here

The song has Late Tanguturi Surya Kumari's rendition of Maa Telugu Talliki igniting patriotic fire in you.  The symbol of Telugu patriotism is powerfully used here, where we have 'we are the youth of the nation...' oft-chanted in English.  A good number at that, the chorusing in all praise of the 'Leader' is peppy.

Avunana Kadana    Listen here

Naresh Iyer and Shwetha Pandit croon the romantic song to good effect.  Musical instruments are well-employed; though it could have been a melody, Mickey doesn't prefer to make it a pure one here.

Vandemataram    Listen here

It sounds more like a Yuvan Shankar Raja number, than a Mickey one.  Angry outbursts notwithstanding, the song sounds to be lacking in dum .  An average one, it is rendered by Nakash Aziz who instills life into it.

Rajasekhara    Listen here

Shwetha Pandit begins with crooning kai raja and later sings lust-filled lines in praise of the leader.  No, the erotic cravings have not subsided in her.  Rajasekhara is still the vamp's ultimate man-image.  Ghazal tunes will slowly grow on you.  A best rendition by Shewtha indeed.  Here it is Ismail Durbar who comes to life.

Hey CM    Listen here

Pssch... a grand disappointment.  Music sounds absolutely hackenyed.  It is sung by Sunita Sarathy.

Sreelu Pongina    Listen here

The song eulogises the riches of the Bharata land, the sons of Mother India who redeemed themselves by choosing martyrdom et al.  So as Krishna Chaitanya, Siddharth, Kranthi, Sashi Kiran and Aditya hum, you are carried away by, again, patriotic fervour, and sadly, not by its musical quality.

Leader Instrumental    Listen here

Mickey doesn't make an invention here.  The etenal Maa Telugu Talliki tune is only repeated here.
