Legendary Neera Arya Biopic to come Under the Supervision of Roopa Iyer!

The leading lady and ace filmmaker Roopa Iyer with national and international acclaims from her past films Mukhaputa, Chandra (Kannada and Tamil), and Colors (English) is heading for another distinction and is going to make her mark in Bollywood
A multi-talented actor, director, producer, philosopher, and reputed columnist, Roopa Iyer is appearing in the title role of ‘NEERA ARYA’ of the Indian National Army who stabbed her husband Shrikanth Jairanjan Das, a CID officer of the British era when she was compelled to disclose the whereabouts of Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
The infamous attempt to shoot Nethaji Subhash Chandra failed but his driver got killed. Knowing this action of her husband, Neera Arya takes the extreme step of killing her husband.
Neera Arya later faced turbulent days in the cellular jail of Andaman and Nicobar Jail for killing her husband. Neera Arya's breast was cut off as one of the severe punishments. It is only after the independence of India that Neera Arya got released. She lived on for 96 years but her legacy lives on till date.
It is R and DS Production, Mrs. Ripal Patel and a group of NRI’s are investors for this ‘Neera Arya’ biopic. National award-winning writer Varun Gautham has done the script. It is a film full of patriotic emotions on Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose's first Women Army.
The talented husband of Roopa Iyer, music director Gautham Shrivatsa sitting pretty with wonderful scores for ‘Ravi Boppanna’ is doing the music for this film ‘Neera Arya’ and is all set to go on floors from next month. More about the film ‘Neera Arya’ will be revealed soon.
