Oscar award winning legendary composer dies!

Ennio Morricone, the Oscar award winning legendary music composer who has been known for his unforgettable scores for spaghetti western movies such as A Fistful of Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly directed by Sergio Leone, has passed away.

The renowned Italian composer, who has scored music for  more than 500 films, died in Rome due to medical complications after a fall last week in which he broke his femur. Ennio Morricone had won a honorary Oscar in 2007.

Ennio Morricone also won an Oscar for his score in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight (2015) and had previously been nominated for his scores for Terrence Malick’s Days of Heaven, Roland Joffe’s The Mission, Brian De Palma’s The Untouchables, Barry Levinson’s Bugsy and Giuseppe Tornatore’s Malena.
