Leopard attacks woman causing serious injuries near Valparai

In a shocking incident, a 36 year old woman belonging to Valaparai has been attacked by a leopard. The incident occured when the lady had been engaged in work in front of her house. The leopard which had been hiding in the tea bushes suddenly leaped and attacked the lady.
After hearing the screams of the victim Mahalakshmi, people around immediately took her to the government hospital in Valparai where she is being treated. Mahalakshmi has sustained serious injuries in her hand, leg and thigh regions. The people around the region had sought the immediate action of the officials to capture the dangerous wild animal.
