Let Vijay Deverakonda become a bigger star than me: Bunny

Allu Arjun was the chief guest at the pre-release event of 'Taxiwaala'. His speech was filled with heartfelt words.

"I would like to first congratulate the film's story writer and lyricists. Everything originates from the writer's mind. Yet, he or she gets the least amount of recognition despite leaving a legacy. Priyanka (heroine) was saying that she has a crush on me. I can't do anything now. She is too late (laughs). She is a Marathi girl who was brought up in Anantapur. New girls should enter the industry fearlessly. Telugu film industry gives the maximum respect to girls. Among all the industries, it's TFI which gives the highest respect to women," Bunny began saying.

The Mega hero praised producer SKN as one of the few persons who has made it big in the industry from being a no one. "Many years ago, during the days of Orkut, SKN used to aggressively defend Megastar on online forums. He has always been a die-hard fan of Chiranjeevi garu. When some issue happened in our family, SKN patiently replied to thousands of trolls single-handedly, personally. I once told him such kind of hardwork will give him sleepless nights and bad health. He told me he is ready to die for Megastar. Coming from Eluru to Hyderabad, he started out as a journalist, worked in a TV channel in a good position, formed a PR agency, co-produced movies and he is here today as the producer of 'Taxiwaala'. I personally am very proud of SKN," Bunny said.

He then spoke highly of UV Creations. "I have liked them since the days of 'Mirchi'. They are doing a big movie like 'Saaho'. After watching 'Bhaagamathie', I called them up and told them I want to do a film for them. I also wish Bunny Vas for GA2," Bunny added.

The Stylish Star said that he likes people around him to grow in life. "If someone comes to me as an office boy today, he should become a production manager ten years later. If he doesn't grow, it will kill me. I have to contribute to his or her growth. In this context, I would like to appreciate Deverakonda for working with debutant directors," Bunny said.

"Today, RRR film was launched. I wish my favourite Mega Power Star and 'bava' Tarak all the best," he added.

Bunny requested Deverakonda to design a customized dress for him through the Rowdy label. "Vijay has so much of originality. I and my contemporaries are stuck in a warp. But Vijay is doing new things. He is a fantastic performer. I was born with a silver spoon and was introduced by Raghavendra Rao garu. I may become a big star but I can't claim that I am a self-made star. Vijay is a self-made star. He has carved himself. I have high respect for such self-made people. There are always people who wait for a successful man to falter. So, it's normal that many are wishing that Vijay delivers flops. But nothing can affect him. He will be a gem of a star. I will whole-heartedly praise him even if he were to become a bigger star than me," the Mega hero said.

When the audience asked him about his next movie, Bunny laughed it off, saying that he will talk about it some other time.
