The wait is almost over! The beloved blue alien is back – fuzzier, funnier, and more mischievous than ever – in Disney’s highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch. Set to steal hearts and stir up some island chaos, the film will hit Indian theatres on May 23, 2025, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Based on the iconic animated classic, Lilo & Stitch tells the hilarious and touching tale of a lonely Hawaiian girl whose life changes forever when she befriends a runaway alien experiment. Together, they form an unbreakable bond that helps heal her fractured family.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp, the film boasts a screenplay by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. The star-studded cast includes Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis, with an exciting debut by Maia Kealoha as Lilo.
