Lingusamy’s Thirupathi Brothers clarify about Kamal Haasan’s ‘Uttama Villain’ and condemns leading Youtube channel!

In 2015, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's emotional comedy drama 'Uttama Villain' was released in theatres. The film was jointly produced by Kamal's Raaj Kamal Films and director Lingusamy's Thirupthi Brothers. It seems that Kamal Haasan has agreed to do another film for Thirupathi Brothers due to the financial loss of 'Uttama Villain'.

But a leading YouTube channel said yesterday that 'Uttama Villain' was a profitable venture for Thirupathi Brothers. Now, the production house has released an official statement clarifying this and condemned the media page for the same. This news is now going viral on the internet. The press release from Thirupathi Brothers says:

"Greetings to cinema fans around the world,

Thirupathi Brothers, our company has produced and released quality blockbusters like Rajini Murugan, Deepavali, Paiyaa, Vettai, Ivan Veramathiri, Vazhakku En 18/9, Kumki, Goli Soda, Manjapai, Sathuranga Vettai. These films won National Awards and Tamil Nadu Government Film Awards. Padma Shri Mr Kamal Haasan's "Uttama Villain" was a movie that caused huge economic loss and financial crisis for our company and Mr Kamal Haasan also knows this very well. Mr Kamal Haasan and his brother Amarar Mr Chandra Haasan have given written assurance to our company that they will act and produce one more film for Thirupathi Brothers to cover the huge loss of "Uttama Villain". While Thirupathi Brothers is busy with those works, the YouTube channel "Valai Pechu" spreads misinformation that Mr Lingusamy said 'Uttama Villain' is the biggest profitable film. This is absolutely reprehensible. We request you not to spread such wrong and false information on social media."
