Lockdown violation: Poonam Pandey booked, her BMW car seized

Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey, known for her steamy photoshoots, was on Sunday arrested by the Mumbai Police for violating the COVID-19 lockdown in the city.
As per media reports, Poonam Pandey and her friend were seen wandering outside without a valid reason. With the police dissatisfied with her answers, a case has been registered against her at Marine Drive Police Station under IPC sections 188, 269 and 51 (B).
Her BMW car was also seized in tune with the rules.
The case has been registered against Pandey and her friend for indulging in a negligent act likely to spread infection of a disease dangerous to life, and for disobedience of order duly promulgated by a public servant. A couple of provisions of the National Disaster Act have also been invoked against her.
