Election Day - Cinema theaters announce shutdown of movie shows

The Lok Sabha election polling is happening today and a large number of first time and young voters are expected to stamp their choices in poll booths across Tamil Nadu where the byelections for 18 assembly seats are also being conducted.

The Tamil Nadu Cinema Theater Owners Association has announced that due to the Parliamentary and Assembly byelections morning and noon shows have been canceled. The evening and night shows will continue as usual after the polling concludes at 5pm.
