We all know that 'Thalapathy 67' is Kollywood's most-awaited project in 2023. The entire Indian cinema fans are looking forward to the mega multistarrer project. Thalapathy Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Seven Screen Studio and Anirudh are teaming up again after 'Master' for this massive budget outing.

Though the film went on floors with a puja in December 2022, the official announcement hasn't been made yet. The question that follows Lokesh Kanagaraj everywhere is regarding the Thalapathy 67 announcement date. Today, the filmmaker updated the fans about the Thalapathy 67 announcement during his speech at the promotional event of 'Michael'.

Michael is an upcoming gangster film starring Sundeep Kishan and Vijay Sethupathi. The movie's promotional event happened at PSG college, Coimbatore. Talking at the event, Lokesh Kanagaraj promised that the much-awaited Thalapathy 67 update will be unveiled on February 1st or 2nd, or 3rd.

The makers have completed a shooting schedule in Chennai and Kodaikanal already. Gautham Menon, Mysskin and Mansoor Ali Khan have already confirmed their presence in Thalapathy 67. As per sources, the movie also stars Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Nivin Pauly, and Rakshit Shetty while Kamal Haasan is said to play a cameo role.
