Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, currently immersed in post-production work for Coolie starring Superstar Rajinikanth, is gearing up for back-to-back projects. With Coolie slated for a grand release on August 14, attention has now turned to his upcoming ventures.

Next on Lokesh’s list is Kaithi 2, starring Karthi, which is expected to begin shooting by the end of this year. However, before that, another exciting project from the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) is set to go on floors much sooner.

A few months ago, it was revealed that director Pakiyaraj Kannan would helm a film titled Benz, based on a story by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring elements from the LCU. The film is said to include a powerful cast, with Raghava Lawrence playing a key role, alongside Nivin Pauly and Madhavan in pivotal parts.
