'Lollu Sabha' is one of the most popular spoof comedy show that was telecast in Vijay TV ten years back. It is from this show that Santhanam found his footing in the entertainment industry after which he migrated to the big screen to become the most sought after comedian and is now a hero. Yogi Babu, Daniel Anne Pope, Manohar, Swaminathan and Easter have also migrated from the show to the big screen and made their marks.

'Lollu Sabha 2' is getting ready and will be telecast soon on Star Vijay and after the late Balaji and Santhanam, it is going to be Amudhavanan in the lead role. Amudhavanan who has also acted in Bala's 'Thaarai Thappattai' is known for his perfect impersonation of top yesteryear heroes Ramarajan, Sathyaraj and T. Rajendhar apart from Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Ajith. He has also won the 'Jodi Number One' dance competition and 'Kalakkapovathu Yaaru' season three.
