The process of film making has never been an easy task to any film maker. Similarly, for the team of ‘Lootera’ it hasn’t been a cakewalk. Vikramaditya Motwane, who has been working on this film for over a year and a half, came up with an idea of making five minute documentary, capturing the struggles they went through while making the film. The entire crew of the film faced some of the toughest moments.

One of the first mishaps was lead actor Ranveer Singh’s back injury, which gave the crew a major fright. The shooting schedule went hay wire as the actor had to be rushed back to the city on a stretcher.

Then, while filming in Dalhousie, the team faced extreme weather conditions. Some days, they even had to trek through knee-high snow. To maintain continuity, the crew also had to recreate winter in the summer later in the schedule.

Lootera has been an emotional journey for all those involved with it. It is the perseverance and determination of the crew that made sure this movie got made, stated Vikramaditya, adding, After watching this five-minute video, a lot of people want us to make a full-fledged documentary. We will be releasing some more footage of our journey soon.

For now, makers of the film are deciding that how they should release the documentary titled ‘Labour Of Love’ - whether it should be made available independently during the promotions or whether it should be screened with the film’s end credits.
