Love triangle leads to murder of a minor girl

A heart wrenching incident took place in Hyderabad. A man killed a five year old girl by slitting her throat at Ghatkesar and this led to panicking in the surrounding of Ismail Khan Guda. The accused, who himself claims to be the paramour of the mother of the minor girl, was allegedly upset after seeing another man in the house of the woman.
According to Ghatkesar police, Karunakar (25) entered the house of the victim around 12:45 pm on Thursday and killed the girl, and injured the man himself.
As per Y Narasimha Reddy, ACP Malkajgiri, :Karunakar claimed he is in a relationship with the woman and that she has been avoiding him recently. However, he managed to enter the house of the woman who tried to push him into another room. Enraged by this, he picked up a blade and slit the minor’s throat. He injured the other man then.”
Though the mother alerted her neighbours and managed to take the girl to the hospital, there was no chance for the girl to survive. She succumbed by then. The mother became unconscious after learning the death of her daughter and is being treated. A case under Sec-302 of IPC was registered.
