He has given us fabulous movies with the gentle touch of melancholy. This makes him different from others. He was married for the second time to Gitanjali Raman, daughter of former Advocate General of Tamil Nadu P S Raman. Gitanjali was working as assistant director to Selvaraghavan and they got married on July 3, 2011. They have a girl and a boy named Leelavathi and Omkar.
