96 remake gets a special title!

Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha paired for the first time in the 2018 movie 96, which was directed by cinematographer Premkumar, who had also made his debut as director with the movie. 96 became a successful venture and was one of the profitable movies of the year.
After the Tamil version's success, the movie was remade in Kannada as 99, and Bhavana and Ganesh acted in the version. and the movie was also being remade in Telugu by the same director Premkumar. Now the team has announced the title of the Telugu version.
The Telugu remake of 96 has been titled Jaanu, after the name of the female lead's character. Jaanu stars Samantha and Sharwanand in lead roles, and has music by Govind Vasantha who had composed music for Tamil version. Jaanu is produced by Dil Raju.
