Lyca Productions, one of the leading media houses of the Tamil film industry, on this grand day of their illustrious Chairman Subaskaran Allirajah's birthday announcement, has brought to shore the launch of the Lycra Productions Short Film Contest: FRAME TO FAME. This contest will bring young storytelling talent closer to their dreams, relating to making the difference and becoming big in cinema.

And with Subaskaran's stewardship, Lyca Productions joined hands with famous names and churned out a host of trailblazing blockbusters to its name. As for Subaskaran, he has committed to taking up prestigious and inspiring projects for presentation in the cine world. The latter is even planning to pump more money into the movies and reportedly has a series of projects, one after another.

Following the successful epic 'Ponniyin Selvan' saga and 'Lal Salaam', Lyca Productions is currently working with top heroes in the form of Superstar Rajinikanth, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Complete Actor Mohanlal, Ajith Kumar, and more. The upcoming project is "Indian 2," with Kamal Haasan in the lead role and Shankar directing it. Other than this, they are funding Super Star Rajinikanth's "Thalaivar 170."

This is a very major step where Subaskaran enters the industry of Malayalam cinema, and that, too, with a great movie starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran. This film, titled "L2E: Empuraan," is all set to become the costliest ever in Mollywood and will mark Subaskaran's debut in the Malayalam language. It will have Mohanlal reuniting with Prithviraj Sukumaran, and it is expected to be a pan-India movie.

Lyca Productions also has big plans to step into Tollywood and Bollywood. More about this contest will be announced in the coming days on their social media handles. Stay Tuned!
