Lyricist Pa Vijay has been known for his hit songs, and he had turned an actor before few years, and has acted in movies like Ilaignan, Gnabagangal, Strawberry, Aarudhra to name a few. After initially acting in movies directed by others, Pa Vijay had turned a director himself with Strawberry.

Released in 2015, Strawberry was a horror flick which starred Pa Vijay along with Avani Modi,Devayani, Samuthirakani, Robo Shankar and many others, and though the movie did not fare well, he again directed a movie named Aarudhra co-starring SA Chandrasekaran, K Bhagyaraj which was not successful as well.

Now the latest update is that Pa Vijay is all set to return to direction, this time with the sequel to Strawberry. Strawberry 2 will again star Pa Vijay himself and it is expected that the lyricist himself will produce the movie. It is said that this horror sequel's official announcement will be out soon, and it is in pre-production phase now.
