The exemplary performers Vadivelu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh joined hands for director Mari Selvaraj's ambitious project, 'Maamannan'. Produced by Red Giant Movies, the filming is over and the post-production work is going on in full swing.

The movie is on track for a June release as announced earlier. It will hit the screens most probably on June 29 (Bakrid). AR Rahman composed the musical score for Maamannan. Indiaglitz recently broke to you that the makers are planning a grand audio launch for the film in Chennai on June 1st. Now, the hot news is that Maamannan's first single will be launched on 19th May (Friday). The team dropped this official update on social media today with a ravishing poster featuring Vadivelu and Udhayanidhi Stalin. The song is composed by Isai Puyal ARR and sung by Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu. Vadivelu singing in ARR's music has resulted in skyrocketed expectations.

The technical team comprises Theni Eswar as the cinematographer, Selva RK as the editor and Kumar Gangappan as the art director. Vadivelu will be seen as a politician in this upcoming movie. Sources say that Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan are likely to be the guests of the Maamannan audio launch. An official confirmation is awaited.
