Simbu made a strong comeback as far as his acting and screen presence is concerned in his last release 'Easwaran' directed by Suseenthiran. He is now super busy with the shooting of 'Maanaadu' and 'Pathu Thala' and has also signed a new movie Gautham Menon as the director produced by Vels Films International.

Meanwhile Simbu's birthday is coming up on February 3rd and he has made a request to fans not to attempt to visit his house to express their love. He has apologized that due to a prior commitment he is will be out of town and does not want his fans who are like family to him to be disappointed.

Simbu also gave the good news to his fans that 'Maanaadu' teaser will release on his birthday February 3rd delighting his fans. The film directed by Venkat Prabhu has music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced by Suresh Kamachi. The starcast comprises of Simbu, Kalyani Priyan, SAC, S.J. Suryah, Manoj K Bharathi, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaran.
