Simbu made a grand comeback with the Pongal release 'Easwaran' in which his screen presence and acting were well received by fans. He is currently in the final schedule of his much-awaited political thriller 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamachi.

Simbu a few days earlier had announced that the teaser of 'Maanaadu' will be out on his birthday February 3rd as a treat to his fans. He also added that he will not be available in Chennai house and requested fans not to visit his in the hope of catching a glimpse of him and expressing wishes.

Suresh Kamachi has now revealed that 'Maanaadu' teaser will be unveiled at the auspicious time of 2.34 pm on February 3rd. The film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has the cast of Simbu, Kalyani Priyan, SAC, S.J. Suryah, Karunakaran, Arvind Akash, Manoj K Bharathia and Premgi Amaran.
