Simbu has finished a major portion of his new movie 'Vanthaa Rajavaathan Varuven' directed by Sundar C but shooting has been stalled due to the pending issues the hero has with 'AAA' producer Michael Rayappan. Meanwhile, pre-production work for Simbu's new 'Maanadu' is going on in full swing.

Suresh Kamatchi the producer of 'Maanadu' has given the hot update that Venkat Prabhu has written a highly charged political script for Simbu and the film will be loaded with mass moments. He has also promised that the rest of the exciting cast and crew details will be revealed in the first week of May
