'Maatraan' out beats Rajini's 'Kochadaiyaan'!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is no longer the first Indian film to use Performance Capture Technology! Suriya’s ‘Maatraan’ will be using this technique that’s called as PCT.

Although Soundarya Ashwin had earlier announced that she will be using this technology in magnum opus ‘Kochadaiyaan’, thus introducing it to Indian cinema, Srinivas Mohan, a VFX supervisor from Chennai has applied this technique for Suriya’s ‘Maatraan’ recently.

The film is said to have Suriya against Suriya, meaning Suriya in two avatars, one good and evil. Suriya had got himself inked in three places in his hand for the role he is essaying. Kajal Aggarwal plays his lady love and Harris Jayaraj has composed the tunes and there are said to be five tracks that belong to varied genres in the music album.

The winning combination of ‘Ayan’ - KV Anand, Suriya and Harris are back with this film and the expectations are souring sky high.
