'Maayon' team releases unique audio teaser for the visually-challenged

To mark World Disability Day, the unit of Maayon, produced by Double Meaning Productions Arun Mozhi Manickam and starring Sibiraj and Tanya Ravichandran in the lead, released a special teaser of the film, exclusively for the visually challenged.

Producer Arun Mozhi Manickam tweeted, "We all have our own share of #disabilities and fears, either inherently born or acquired. So it’s on all of us to edge towards a more #inclusive culture and society Happy International Day of People with Disabilities! "

"Through the audio description in our teaser, we believe we have given them joy and happiness to enjoy the journey of our movie right from the beginning. We encourage our fellow film industry colleagues as well as other industry experts to make more works in future by including them in every aspect of life so that they can have an inclusive experience what is common to all" he said in a statement.

Apart from Sibiraj and Tanya Ravichandran, Radharavi, KS Ravikumar, Bags alias Bagawathy Perumal are in the cast. Producer Arun Mozhi Manickam has also written the screenplay for the film is directed by N Kishore. Ramprasadh cranks the camera and music will be scored by Isaignani Ilayaraja.

 
It is a known fact that in his previous project "Psycho", Producer Arun Mozhi Manickam took special efforts to add an audio description in a bid to enable the visually challenged audiences to enjoy the film. Sources close to the producer say that he is likely to include an audio description in every film of his from now on for the benefit of the visually challenged.
