Director K.S. Vasanthakumar passes away suddenly

Director K.S. Vasanthakumar who lived in Devaraj Nagar, Saligramam, Chennai complained of severe chest pain on Wednesday and his family immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital but he passed away due to the massive cardiac arrest.  The fifty-year-old director is survived by his wife Kanmani, daughter Varshini and son Yuvan.

K.S. Vasanthakumar an erstwhile associate of director Madhesh made a solid debut with 'Machi' in 2004 starring Sivaji Ganesan's eldest grandson Dushyanth in the lead and recently did the little know 'Oru Oorla'.  Close friends of the departed director are participating in the last rites to be held this afternoon.
