Director A.R. Murugadoss is currently working on his upcoming Tamil film ‘MadhaRassi’, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The movie is in its final stages, with only the last phase of shooting left to be completed.

Previously, Murugadoss had started production on another film titled ‘Sikandar’. However, after its recent release, the film failed at the box office. With that behind him, the director is now fully focused on completing MadhaRassi.

The production team has begun preparations to complete the remaining shoot and is currently coordinating available dates with the actors. The goal is to wrap up all post-production and release the movie by September 5. Talks are also underway to sell the film’s OTT rights in time for its release.

So far, only the music and international rights have been sold. The film features a strong supporting cast including Biju Menon, Vidyut Jammwal, Rukmini Vasanth, Shabeer, Vikranth, and Arun Venjaramoodu alongside Sivakarthikeyan.

Renowned editor Sreekar Prasad is handling the editing while the music is being composed by popular composer Anirudh.
