A news started doing the rounds that Maddy has agreed to pair up with Ramya Krishnan for a new Telugu movie and will be playing the dad of young hero Varun Tej.

The evergreen handsome hunk's next release is 'Rocketry The Nambi Effect' which is his directorial debut and is based on the life of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan. The film has Simran as the leading lady while Suriya plays an extended cameo. He has also teamed up with Anushka in the upcoming supernatural thriller 'Nishabdham'.
