It was recently reported that R Madhavan would be cast opposite Aishwarya Rai in the Hindi-language film 'Fanney Khan'.

The news is that he has walked out of the project. "I loved the script and was really keen to be part of an interesting ensemble like 'Fanney Khan', unfortunately, I couldn't commit to the project due to date issues. I wish the team of all the luck," Madhavan has told a news agency.

A controversy had got manufactured over Madhavan's casting in the movie when it was reported by several sections of media that Aish was unhappy that she will be paired up with the talented actor.

Meanwhile, Maddy is working on a movie titled 'Chanda Mama Door Ke', in which he will play an astronaut.
