Maddy in a never before role in his next

Madhavan after ruling the roost as the most popular romantic hero in Tamil cinema for many years went into a self imposed hibernation for some time before making a grand comeback with his blockbuster hit Irudhi Suttru`.

There are a couple of projects Maddy has signed, one being the Charlie` remake to be directed by Vijay. Sources reveal that his immediate project is said to be titled Gramaphone` and directed by Karu Pazhaniappan of Parthiban Kanavu` fame. Fans who are used to seeing Maddy in urban roles will see him as a villager for the first time costarring Rajkiran and the rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
