Madhavan confirms his next movie is dropped

One of the exciting projects that was on the cards is the Tamil remake of 'Charlie' directed by Vijay. Madhavan and Sai Pallavi were roped in to replace Dulquer Salman and Sai Pallavi from the original.

The 'Charlie' remake was supposed to begin shooting as soon as Vijay's 'Vanamagan' released but now the director has begun a new project 'Karu' with Sai Pallavi in the lead. He has also stated in the press that the remake is not happening any time soon. Reacting to his statement Maddy has taken to social media to wish Vijay the very best signalling that the project is indeed dropped.
