A Madhavan's film, where he plays the solo hero, is coming after a long time in Telugu. Prema Nilayam may be an old-fashioned title, but the film has a few trappings of a commercial family entertainer. Ajith will be seen in a special role.

This film dwells the pet question of many writers of the bygones. Love or family? Madhavan plays a youth who is torn between his love and loyalties to his family, and Bhavana is playing his pair.

Vanamali is the lyricist. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director. BL Sanjay is the cinematographer. Seeman has written and directed the movie.
