Sri Reddy grabbed national media attention by protesting nude at the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce premises and also appearing on TV with her allegations about existence of casting couch in the industry.  Powerstar Pawan Kalyan had adviced Sri Reddy to go to court instead of tv channels which irked the starlet who publicly used derogatory words on the mass hero and also slippered herself for calling him her elder brother.

Sri Reddy's actions angered Pawan Kalyan fans who are continuously showing their wrath on social media and other public places.  Actress Madhavi Latha conducted a protest against Sri Reddy with a few fans in the exact place of the famous Sri Reddy nude protest.  She was arrested by the police immediately and later released.
