Recently, popular Bollywood director Neeraj Pandey expressed his interest to remake Mammootty's super hit thriller 'Puthiya Niyamam' in Bollywood. Looks like yet another Mammootty flick is gearing up for a remake. This time, it's Mammootty's upcoming flick 'Madhura Raja'.

As Megastar Mammootty's much-awaited sequel ‘Madhura Raja’ is gearing up for a Vishu release, the team is all busy promoting the movie. At a recent event in Abu Dhabi, the makers of the film revealed that a popular Telugu film producer, NV Prasad, expressed interest to remake the mass entertainer. An official announcement regarding the movie is expected in the coming weeks.

Scripted by Udhayakrishna and directed by Vysakh, 'Madhura Raja' is a sequel to Mammootty's blockbuster 'Pokkiriraja' (2010). The movie was a commercial hit and Mammootty's dialogues (Trivandrum accent in particular) was a huge trend in those days!

'Madhura Raja' also stars Anusree, Anna Reshma Rajan, Mahima Nambiar, Shamna Kasim and Tamil actor Jai in important roles. Popular Bollywood star Sunny Leone is also performing a special number for the movie. Stunt Choreographer Peter Hein and music director Gopi Sundar are also part of the upcoming sequel. Coming from a hit-making combo, expectations are high on the upcoming mass action entertainer.
