Madhya Pradesh giving jitters to BJP, Congress

In Madhya Pradesh, the fight between BJP and Congress is the stuff of nail-biting thrillers. So far, Congress has won 110 seats, falling behind by 6 seats to achieve half-way majority.

The BJP has won 107 seats.

"BJP is leading on a couple of seats with very small margins which it might lose after a few more rounds. Amla, Bhopal, Chhatarpur, Deotalab (leading by 2 votes!). Congress also leading in a couple of seats with below 300 margins," writes columnist Pratyasha Rath.

The vote shares of the parties are also too close. BJP is slightly ahead of the Congress in terms of vote-share.
