Fans around the world were shocked to hear the tape, in which the American Singer was verbally abused by her boyfriend Jack Gilinsky. Despite the abuse she received for the love she gave, she didn`t call it quits` on the relationship. She kept working on the relationship trying to fix the relationship and him to make things better for them both because she loved him.

How do we know this? She recently wrote an open-letter on (Twitter) addressing the issue and expressing her views on her foolishness`.

She says in the letter “Jack and I having to face this yet again has been so hard. Many of you asking me, Why would you stay with him if it happened last year?` My theory was, and as horrible as this is is that if I left him he`d do it to the next girl. I tried to fix him.”

That`s just heartbreaking to hear, as she was only 18 at the time while Jack Gilinsky,20 was abusing her verbally.

He was heard saying in the audio “You`re a f****** slut and ” “Look at me. You`re a slut. You`re a little slut and you haven`t told me about something”

While the singer kept begging to “leave me alone” and “go away” “You`re not my boyfriend anymore, please go away”

She continued in the letter “We both have grown and changed at this point and it has been an extremely difficult thing to relive/go through what all of you have heard in the first place and hope ALL of my fans learn from my foolishness. If someone is mistreating you in ANY way, please speak up. It is never okay and I was blinded by love and much too afraid to come out and say anything in fear I would be broken up with/not taken seriously by someone I told”

She adds “SPEAK UP. Don`t make the same mistakes I did. Your safety is never worth it. No matter what, no one deserves to be treated that way. You deserve the world and respect from EVERYONE and ANYONE. Be strong and thank you again, Madison”

The letter left a lot of people heartbroken and many fans sent her prayers and love while explaining their own histories of being victims of verbal abuse.

Later she deleted the letter from her Twitter page and thanked all her fans for supporting and loving her.

We hope you heal soon, Madison! We hope you find some peace of mind away from this chaos.
