Court's latest ruling on Sarathkumar Vs Nadigar Sangam Case

As we had reported earlier veteran actors R.Sarathkumar, Radharavi and Vaagai Chandrasekar have been permanently removed from the Nadigar Sangam with a resolution passed in the Sangam's Annual General Body Meeting conducted on November 27.

Reacting to the resolution. Sarathkumar the Ex-President of the Sangam called it illegal and said he will take the issue to Court to get the legal remedy.

The trio were earlier suspended from the Sangam and were barred from participating in AGM. Sarath and Radharavi the Ex-General Secretary had filed a petition in the Madras High Court against this temporary suspension and not allowing them to participate in the Sangam's meeting.

The petition came up for hearing today, the Madras High Court Judged has closed the case regarding their interim suspension in the wake of the latest development. The Court however ruled that they can challenge their permanent expulsion in the same court through a fresh petition.
