Following a petition filed by actress Sona, who is part of Love Journey (Kanimozhi), the Madras High Court has issued an order of injunction restraining T. Siva of Amma Creations and Jakkula Nageswara Rao, producer of the Telugu version, from releasing Love Journey.

The actress had filed a petition in the court saying that her consent (she was one of the co-producers of the original) had not been obtained to dub the movie in Telugu. She pleaded the court to impose a ban on its release.

Following which, the Hon'ble Court issued an order of injunction on the 15th. A part of the order says: .. any person dealing with the above film or executing the same or its Telugu dubbed version by virtue of any agreement or licence or permission from the said persons (T. Siva and Jakkula), will be committing contempt of the Hon'ble High Court's Order and suitable legal action will be taken against all persons violating the above order.
