Actor Hari Krishnan had been a constant in Pa Ranjith's movies right from Attakathi, and had gained fame with his character Johny in the hit movie Madras starring Karthi, and since then has mostly been referred to as Johny than his real name Hari Krishnan.

After being a part of biggies like Kabali, Sandakozhi 2, and recently being seen in Pariyerum Perumal, the actor is all set to turn a hero next, and this movie has been titled as Siragu. Siragu is produced by Mala Manian's First Copy productions.

Directed by lyricist Kutty Revathi, Siragu will have Akshita as the female lead and will have music scored by Pisaasu and Thupparivalan fame Arrol Corelli. Raja Bhattacharjee who had worked in Pyaar Prema Kadhal will be the cinematographer, and the film has wrapped shooting already.
