Actor Simbu is back to work and is currently shooting for his next movie Maha, which stars Hansika Motwani in title role, and Simbu will be seen in an extended cameo appearance in the movie. Simbu plays a pilot in the movie, which also stars Srikanth, Thambi Ramaiah, Jayaprakash and has music by Ghibran.

Now, producer V Mathiyalagan of Etcetera entertainment which is producing Maha has showered praises on Simbu and his dedication. He has said that for the 8 day shooting planned across 5 locations the actor has been giving great support without any starry tantrums. Even without a caravan, reportedly Simbu took rest in an Innova car, while also constantly checking the shooting.

Mathiyalagan has reportedly asked producers to travel with Simbu, and added that when they understand his requirements, he dedicates himself to the project. He also appreciated his co-operation in shooting in the extreme hot climate in Goa. Maha is Hansika's 50th movie, and is directed by debutant UR Jameel.
