As the election fever is gripping in the minds of ruling party it has taken up the Mahadayi water sharing project to the people of Northern Karnataka to get a solution. The all party meeting in connection to Mahadayi water sharing has decided to amicably solve the crisis by talks.

On Monday Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah convened a meeting of all political party and urged cooperation of all to convince the Goa chief minister on this issue. Out of the court settlement is the option left what the Tribunal has recommended.

Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah announced to hold talks with his Congress I colleagues in Goa and opposition leaders Jagadish Shettar and Ishwarappa took responsibility of meeting Goa CM Manohar Parikkar.

The other political personalities union minister DV Sadananda Gowda, JDS HD Revanna, Kona Reddy, Jayachandra, HK Patil, HC Mahadevappa, DK Shivakumar, Vinay Kulkarni, farmers leaders were present at the meeting.
