Mahesh Babu calls award-winning web-series a masterstroke

'Delhi Crime', the Netflix Original which has won the Best Drama Series award at the International Emmy Awards 2020, has won the applause of Mahesh Babu. Taking to Twitter, the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor lauded the gritty and dark web-series.

"#DelhiCrime is a masterstroke! Congratulations to the entire team on its terrific win at the #Emmys. Truly deserving! (sic)," Mahesh wrote on Wednesday.

Directed by Richie Mehta, the series stars Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang. Revolving around the 2012 Delhi gang-rape, which shook the country, 'Delhi Crime' is a crime drama with a difference. It's a fictional tale with a message.
